The Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Operations and Supply Chain Management (MASHOM) is a project-based, part-time, executive program created exclusively for humanitarian professionals. MASHOM works closely with humanitarian organizations to design course content and select locations, making this program a true “flying masters”.
MASHOM is designed for humanitarian practitioners with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience. Participants attend 7 one-week sessions, with courses covering strategy, project & process management, and supply chain & operations management. The program takes approximately 18 months to complete and all courses are taught in English. In addition to the master’s degree, participants earn a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Tuition costs 15,000 CHF for national staff and 20,000 CHF for international staff. This fee covers all material distributed in class. Travel and accommodation are not included.
MASHOM 01 and 02 have been based in Amman, Jordan, with the graduation ceremony in Lugano, Switzerland. The location for MASHOM 03, beginning in April 2016, will be decided in consultation with our partner organizations.
